Indiana Fever attendance, 2023 to 2026: the jump that held
From 4,067 fans a game in 2023 to 17,036 in 2024. Two seasons later the crowds are still there: 16,560 in 2025, and 15,956 through 13 home games in 2026.
In 2023 the Indiana Fever drew 4,067 fans a game, second-lowest in the WNBA. In 2024, with Caitlin Clark on the roster, they drew 17,036. That is a 319% jump in a single offseason: the home gate more than quadrupled with no change of city, arena, or league.
The pace is the part that does not look real. The Fever drew 81,336 fans across all of 2023. In 2024 they passed that full-season total in their fifth home game.

It was not only Indiana. League-wide WNBA ticket sales rose 93% after Clark was drafted. But the Fever are where the effect concentrates into one clean before-and-after: a team that almost no one watched in person, sold out, in a year.
That is the kind of move that shows up as a single number you have to read twice.
The usual fate of a spike like that is mean reversion. This one has not reverted. In 2025 the Fever averaged 16,560 across 22 home games, with seven sellouts of Gainbridge Fieldhouse's 17,274 capacity. Through 13 home games in 2026 they are averaging 15,956.
Four times the 2023 gate, three seasons running. The anomaly was never that the crowd showed up once. It is that the step change stuck.
